What We Have To Offer..The Elbow Water Ski Club is located within a public reserve on a bend of the Waikato Rivers known as ‘The Elbow’. In 1958 the clubhouse was just a tin shed, today it is a two-story building with modest amenities. There are male and female shower and toilet blocks and ample basement storage downstairs. With a fully equipped kitchen and recreation room, plus outside decks upstairs, the venue is perfect for après-ski socialising. A recent addition to the club premises has been bollards around the perimeter of the clubhouse, transforming this area into a safe picnic spot for members with young families.Over the past 50 years, the club has produced New Zealand champions in barefoot and Slalom, as well as a National Wakeboard Champion. The age range of its members is 4 through to 70. In its heyday, the Elbow club had a substantial member list and has always been family and fun orientated, as many life members can recall. Today however, the club remains undiscovered by many and is cherished by few. We would like to turn that around!
